A New Year, A New Word ~ A New Tree Of Life!

Many of you know that the Peace Sign is a favorite of mine,

and I always wear my soothing, peaceful stones 

(aquamarine, labradorite, etc).

This year I am adding a new symbol to 

my personal collection: a new "Tree of Life" charm. 

On New Years Eve I began designing a new Tree of Life 

(thank you Patty and Yo for the impetus)

inspired by the might oak tree just outside my studio.

Then on my New Years hike, awed by all the beautiful oak trees 

in the Santa Monica mountains, I knew this would be my 

symbol for the new year!

And my word, my intention, 

 for the New Year is "Strength"

inner strength ~ emotional and physical

 (this is the year I gain my "core" strength thanks to yoga and pilates!)

spiritual strength and strength in numbers (friends, family & financial!)

I can't wait to share the finished piece.
